Hi guys, I hope this is allowed (if not, please delete).
I'm looking for recommendations! I've got a craving for long fics, preferably Peter/Caspian. Long, plotty, good characterization... you know the kind. Angst would be awesome, and happy endings as well, or am I being too picky now?
If you could rec me your favorite long fics, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

This is the deal guys. I have been thinking how much I miss you and I was wondering if you my beloved hetalians would be interested in a Christmas Gathering in the Dallas/ Ft.Worth Area.

It would work pretty much like Hetalia day did. We have two options:

1. Have a picnic in a pretty location and take pictures/have random crack
2. Meet in one place and then move to a mall or something and scare normies away.

 I suppose it will depend on the amount of people we get. Cosplay is encouraged but not necessary! Just come and have fun :D

 

Here is where I need your help guys:

The location has not been established and it will be decided according to where everybody lives.  Still, we are going to try and pick a central place so everybody can attend.

The date is still not available.  Pick any weekend or day and we can plan around it. I know for sure I won’t be able to be in Dallas between Dec.  7-10  (those are week days) because I have awesome finals. Other than that, I’m pretty much open to suggestions. My semester ends on the 10th so after that I can actually meet during week days even though a weekend would probably work best.
 

 

Who would be up for it?

...it's a photomanipulation about these two smoldering Narnia lads: Prince Caspian and Edmund. Mmk? Mmk.

But it's pretty... conceptual. The background and original characters are from the movie Gladiator. Caspian's features - older, mysterious, imposing and royal - are somewhat elvish, from The Lord of the Rings. The scene is... whatever you want to be. Feel free to imagine what fits more conveniently. I, personally, have imagined some rescue situation while making this manip, like "I'm here to save you, Edmund...". Torrid homoerotic tension Slashy motivations included, of course. It's all about slash here. ;-)

The only thing I knew it: must have Ben Barnes and Skandar Keynes in it. Big time.

Hey, collie_lover here under another journal.

I posted a little while ago looking for a Narnia fic finder comm. There doesn't seem to be any around, and a few people seemed interseted in the idea, but nothing's come of it I don't think.

So, basically I'm wondering how people would feel if I started such a comm? Would anyone be interseted in being co-mods, a tag master, art or whatnot?

What to say, what to say. For Halloween, I was moe. Earlier, while giving my roommmate a haircut, I poked her between the eyes and was subsequently forbidden from using shears ever again. Right now I'm sinking into two duvets, breathing in Oolong vapours, and making posters; it's been a quiet day.

Myers-Briggs personality typology isn't terribly accurate, and people likely shuffle through them with time; that said, I consistently score as an INTP. "Head in the clouds", "preoccupation with designing systems": most of these descriptions are just uncanny. So, I'm curious! What's your MBTI type?

Honestly, as soon as I declare a hiatus, something like this comes along. Sketchvember 2009! Ideally I will be posting a sketch a day for the whole of November. (Aha ha, we'll see how long that lasts.) halcyonjazz is doing it, which is more than enough reason to follow suit. \o/

This has been bugging me for a while, and I'm sorry if it's already been answered, but it showed up again in the latest scanslations so I thought I'd ask.

Whenever Toki introduces himself, characters tend to say something like "That's a tough-sounding name for someone who looks like you."

What specifically is tough-sounding about the name "Rikugou Tokidoki"?
